ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP, ART IN THE COMMUNITY, CROSS-AGE LEARNING
will be the focus of our service projects and excursions, weekly fields trips, and explorations to cultural landmarks
throughout the Bay Area. Under the leadership of experienced, credentialed classroom teachers, supported by
college-age supervisors, crews of students are engaged in learning and discovery that improves our neighborhoods
and communities while also introducing them to broader environmental and cultural
resources of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Project YES! (Youth Engaged in Service) is a project of Civicorps Schools and has given thousands of kids the opportunity to connect with their communities over the last 20 years. Project YES! is dedicated to educating the next generation of citizens through the power of service as a way to build civil society and promote citizenship.
